Joules

At the end of November last year me and my fellow print students were involved in an 11 week collaboration with the clothing company Joules. My concept for this project was based on 'Harbours'. Me and my housemate actually came joint 1st place and are now in the stages of arranging placements with them around Easter! Heres a selection of some of the 15 design collection...

Kos

In mid September we managed to find a cheap last minute deal to the Greek island of Kos in a last attempt at seeing the sun. We ate a lot, drank a lot, swam a lot and cycled/bussed around the island. My trusty Pentax P30 helped me capture some of those memories.

Mon Été

Internet has been pretty pants in Falmouth, so now I'm back in the land of real technology for Christmas I can finally upload some photos from the summer! They consist of photos from general antics at home in Cheltenham, one my best friends weddings - Mrs Chloe Mangan (which I was actually bridesmaid for), trips to Taunton, my boyfriends sisters' wedding, followed by a mini break with friends to the Gower in Wales. All documented on my beloved Pentax P30.

Mr & Dr Allen

I had the pleasure of attending another wedding at the beginning of Sept. It was my boyfriends' sister Katie, whose engagement I remember 3 years ago! Time flies. As a wedding gift I painted them a 20x20 cherry blossom. Pleased to say it got a thumbs up from the bride and groom!

Mr & Mrs Mangan

Just a couple of pictures of my wedding present to Chloe and Tom, yesterdays happy couple! I designed the material from ink/acrylic paintings and had it printed on habotai silk! Sewn by yours truly too. Not too shabby.

Scarf

For our last project of the year we had to design a 90x90 silk scarf and two co-ordinating designs. My theme was traditional vintage tins/canal and folk art mixed with the concept of possession and property. Considering I was a photoshop novice about a week ago I'm pretty darn chuffed at this attempt!
