Mr & Dr Allen

I had the pleasure of attending another wedding at the beginning of Sept. It was my boyfriends' sister Katie, whose engagement I remember 3 years ago! Time flies. As a wedding gift I painted them a 20x20 cherry blossom. Pleased to say it got a thumbs up from the bride and groom!

Mr & Mrs Mangan

Just a couple of pictures of my wedding present to Chloe and Tom, yesterdays happy couple! I designed the material from ink/acrylic paintings and had it printed on habotai silk! Sewn by yours truly too. Not too shabby.

Scarf

For our last project of the year we had to design a 90x90 silk scarf and two co-ordinating designs. My theme was traditional vintage tins/canal and folk art mixed with the concept of possession and property. Considering I was a photoshop novice about a week ago I'm pretty darn chuffed at this attempt!

Honeyfest

Moody Polish lady did a pretty botch job of developing these properly... Not sure if I like them. Some really decent photos have been massively cut off massively! But all in all memories of a lovely day drinking cider at a delightful one day festival in Wiltshire, watching the likes of Dry the River, Laura Marling and Damien Rice.

Happy Mothers Day

A little embroidery that I did for Mama Weedon. Sits pride and place on our mantlepiece at home.

Oh I do love to live beside the seaside...

Just a couple of snaps from my Diana of family holiday at the Haven house in Prussia Cove on the Kernow coast. A trip the Weedon, Pinkney and O'Dowd clan do every February half term.

Postcards

I've been pretty rubbish at getting in contact with the relatives since being in Foul Town, and a letter from my Grandma has prompted me to buck up and quickly bash out some homemade postcards.
